Harvey was brought in on January 27 after getting hit by a car. Animal Control hasn't revealed the extent of his injuries, but as you can see, this gentle, NEUTERED 8-year-old guy looks pretty good. His owner is out of town, and apparently has been contacted but is not making an effort to reclaim Harvey. AC has little choice but to consider him a stray and make him available for adoption or rescue. Since he's been impounded more than 5 days, he's considered URGENT! She was eager to get out of her run and spend time with us in an interaction pen. Being a puppy, she was playful and curious. However, she knew when to calm down, she was very well mannered, and she seems very trainable. She was mildly shy at first, but she opened up to us pretty fast. As copied from Pet Pardons on Facebook: This guy arrived just as I was closing up shop for the day, so I didn't get to spend much time with him. He was surrendered by his owner who was having to move, but it may not be a bad thing for him. He's had a rough start living the life of an outdoor dog with only the barest of essentials. Even so, he's friendly and happy and seems to just love people! Aren't dogs amazing in their capabilities to forgive, love unconditionally, and find happiness in every situation?
